Hmm.. This time its 1230.. Earlier by 1 hour. HaHa! Let's talk about First impression today. =)
First thing... How do you leave a good first impression? By smiling when u first see the person? By looking comfortable with the surroundings? Or having the courage to start the first sentence? Confidence? Yea? No? I dunno.
A female friend of mine told me that i have left a very good first impression in her... And it was through a cup of slightly warm water which i passed to her when it was morning. ( We were at a chalet yup and there were others around, I just happened to see that she was the only one awake so I did that ). Well.. Simple things like that make people have lasting impressions on u. And many people always say.. First impression counts~. So... I have made my "first" impression after i met her for like 1 evening. ( yea we met for the first time haha~ ).
Another guy friend told me i made a great first impression too. Because i smiled at him when i first saw him. So... different people... Need different requirements.. For some its a smile.. For some its a cup of water... Whats yours? =)
So this thing about first impression.. My vice principal when i was in secondary school always say... You Have ONLY ONE chance.. to make THE first impression.. Some people say it counts within the very first 5 seconds. Some say its 1. Some say its 60. While others give u 5 mins. Some give u 1 day? Some give u a chance until the next time. What's this thing all about?!~ So if u meet the person for the first 5 seonds and u failed... You can forget about being friends or developing a deeper r/s wif that person? Is it true? or not? Think... Ponder abt it hehe.
So if this thing is sooo important... how the hell r we supposed to make a good first impression ALL the time. There r Tons of people Wif MANY different requirements. What should you do?! Form a generic pattern that goes with majority of the people? Or... change ur style according to what u tink is right based on the person's appearance? Or ... what? What's ur choice o.O?
Alright.. And let's say u screwed up ur first impression. What can u do? Can it be saved? Yea? How? Through long and committed demonstrations of the opposite of what he/she saw in you the first time? Any other methods? Heh... I dunno. You can tell me about it.
And let's say.... You Did well in ur first impression... Can u screw it up easily? Do you need as long as a time u need if the opposite happens? I bet not. Hmm... Does it mean that people like to cling to negative traits? Does it mean that People like to cling to bad points rather than good one? Overemphasizing Failure rather than success? Seems like it to me.
I wished I can make a good first impression to anyone i meet tommorrow, the day after and all subsequent days until I die. I hope to. And I will try my best. Have a good night sleep my friends. Hehe.. I love you all. And its exactly 1:00 am on my desktop.. =p~
