Just came back from a really gore movie and I actually learnt something from it.
What doesn't kills you makes you a stronger person.
Have you been running away from something?
Have you procastinated in anything?
Have you been through fear?
Have you been hiding from something?
Have you ignored a problem just because it was too scary to be approached upon?
Have you . . .?
Well . . . Its all part and parcel of our everyday lifes. People tend to shy away from things that put them out of their comfort zones. They prefer to stay safe. They prefer to stay secure. Even if putting a foot out out of their comfort zones might mean better health, better income/career, or even a better relationship. People are willing to accept their life as it is as long as they feel that it is comfortable enough. Is this supposed to be good?
Facing fear everyday allows you to befriend with fear. It allows you to grow constantly, it puts you out of ur comfort zone into something uncomfortable. But once that uncomfortable region becomes comfortable, did you actually realise that your comfort zone has increased in space and size. You now have more freedom to move between those areas. You will not panic when you have no choice but to go OUT of your comfort zone because you are comfortable with fear.
Face fear. Be Scared. Be Brave. You will Grow. You will Earn. You will Die. Fulfilled.
Avoid Fear. Avoid Pain. Be secure. Be stagnant. Lose everything you have. You will still die. Unfulfiled.
Believe. =].
